Iris Globe is a light object made from mouth-blown crystal glass. Its appearance is shaped through a multi-layered process: ultra-thin layers of metal oxides are kiln-fused into the glass surface. Depending on light and angle, this treatment reveals iridescent colour shifts — at once reflective and translucent.
Light appears in complementary pairs, refracted on the surface, mirrored within.
A visual phenomenon reminiscent of a soap bubble — ephemeral, weightless, constantly in flux. A flat OLED panel serves as the light source, seamlessly integrated into the opening of the sphere. When illuminated, the light is reflected into a vertical column within the globe — a luminous body suspended in glass.
Available in four coated variations — and one uncoated version: pure, raw, transparent. Each Iris Globe is unique — a light-formed object that transforms technology into poetry.
